Listen as Pastor Michelle opens up revelation knowledge on the point of praying in the name of Jesus.

Pastor Michelle Wade

In John chapters 14-16 Jesus is preparing the disciples for his departure as the time for his crucifixion gets closer. Here we see Jesus teaching the disciples how to use His name when they go to the Father in prayer. We pray “in the name of Jesus”, but do we really understand the responsibility that comes along with using his name? Are you REALLY ready to use His name?
Scripture references: John 14:6, 11-13, 25-26. John 15:7, 16, John 16:23-24
Proverbs 22:1 says: “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.”
I pray you’ll be transformed as you listen to this word!

This 18-minute time of prayer and worship gently reinforces all that you read in Psalm 84; especially the verse that speaks of building a well in Baca.

Psalm 84
1How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
2My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
3Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
4Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
5Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
6Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
7They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
8O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
9Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
10For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
12O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

As we close 2011, many things are happening in the Body of Christ that have us somewhat in anguish and questioning what’s going on. As we continue in the faith, we must turn our complete focus and trust to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Just as John was called higher in his vision in Revelation chapter 4, we likewise are being called to come even higher. We must be fully engaged in our relationship with the Lord God…

Scene in Heaven
1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.” 2 Immediately I was [a]in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne. 3 And He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a [b]rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance. 4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones; and upon the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and golden crowns on their heads.
The Throne and Worship of the Creator
5 Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God; 6 and before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal; and in the [c]center and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind. 7 The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle. 8 And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night [d]they do not cease to say,
“HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO [e]IS TO COME.”
9 And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11 “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they [f]existed, and were created.”

This Virtual Prayer Room release offers 8 minutes of prayer & worship. Reading Psalm 20, a text that includes one of my favorite scriptures, Psalm 20:7. It says: “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.” When you put your trust in God you already are victorious!
